Guangdongis a Chineseprovinceon theSouth China Seacoast of thePeople's Republic of China. Formerly romanised asCantonorKwangtung, Guangdong surpassedHenanandSichuanto become themost populous provincein China.Its capital, Guangzhou, sits within its industrial Pearl River Delta region.Guangdong also hosts the largest import and export fair in China called the 'Canton Fair'in Guangdong's capital city.The food and language of the area are still known as Cantonese.
